- Denib work
- Surface materials and finish requirements are identified.
- Hazards are identified.
- Denibbing heads are installed and set-up according to enterprise procedures.
- Job surface is finished to enterprise requirements.
- All denibbing procedures are completed within recognised enterprise guidelines.
- Work is denibbed without causing damage to any component or system.
- All activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, OH&S legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Buff work
- Surface materials and finish requirements are identified.
- Hazards are identified.
- Buffing heads are installed and set-up according to enterprise procedures.
- Job surface is finished to enterprise requirements.
- All finishing procedures are completed within recognised enterprise guidelines.
- Work is buffed without causing damage to any component or system.
- All activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, OH&S legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Polish work
- Surface materials and finish requirements are identified.
- Hazards are identified.
- Polishing heads are installed and set-up according to enterprise procedures.
- Job surface is finished to enterprise requirements.
- All finishing procedures are completed within recognised enterprise guidelines.
- Work is polished without causing damage to any component or system.
- All activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, OH&S legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Clean up work area and maintain equipment
- Material that can be reused is collected and stored.
- Waste and scrap is removed following workplace procedure.
- Equipment and work area are cleaned and inspected for serviceable condition in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Unserviceable equipment is tagged and faults identified in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Operator maintenance is completed in accordance with manufacturer/component supplier specifications and worksite procedures.
- Tooling is maintained in accordance with workplace procedures.
